In 2016 I received bespoke tailoring training at the London College of Fashion. As a queer and gender non-conforming person, I saw a huge lack of clothing that was made using menswear cuts but was constructed to fit non-traditionally-masculine body types and I wanted to gain the knowledge and skills to fill that gap. Although I no longer plan to become a bespoke tailor, Bespoke tailoring requires tremendous technical skill which I put to great use today.
