I grew up by the Maine ocean shore and love listening to the waves, so when I found this beautiful blue and white pleated fabric I knew I wanted to use it to make a piece inspired by ocean waves. I based the design of this jacket on traditional Chinese hanfu robes, which are often worn layered, so I wanted to make this jacket easy to layer and combine with other pieces. 

This piece is fully lined.
