Porcelain & Kintsugi Cropped Hanfu Jacket

Size S

$400 USD

My parents are potters, so I wanted to include pieces inspired by Chinese porcelain and Japanese kintsugi in my first collection. I started by cyanotype dyeing a variety of Chinese papercuts, and built outwards from there. I based the design of this jacket on traditional Chinese hanfu robes, which are often worn layered, so I designed this jacket to be easy to layer and combine with other pieces.

This piece is fully lined and hand-dyed.

  • shell: silk noil, heavy cotton gauze

    lining: rayon challis

  • Contains: cyanotype dye, gutta

Hand wash in cold water with pH neutral & phosphate-free soap and air dry. Do not dry clean. Visit FAQ for detailed care instructions.
